Good Luck Jesse,

I'm planning on DM86, DM87, DM96, DM97, EM06, and EM16 on 432 and 2m. I
am not playing in the contest and my location will be posted on the UHF
prop logger by someone else who is not participating in the contest. My
purpose in going out is to work some of the Lawton locals from some rare
grids, my schedule just happens to coincide with the contest.

I should be in the vicinity of the DM86, DM87, DM96, DM97 intersections
around 1930 UTC. With any luck, some of the contester will here a local
working me and then be able to swing their beams at me.

Don, NL7CO/EM04

Subject: [RMVHF] UHF Contest Rover Operation

N0SWV will be rover during the UHF Contest -

I will attempt to activate the following grids -

DN72, DN71, DN81, DN80, DN70, DM79, DM78, DM77, DM76, DM86 (If time
permits I'll also try DM87, 88 and 89)

I will be running 222, 432, 1296 and 3456, with yagis and loopers and
modest power on each band. I have been asked if I will be taking 6M
with me for some of the harder to acquire grids and I will make an
effort to provide 6M if the UHF contest turns bust at some point.

Its a lot of grids for a short contest. If I don't attract attention
within 15 minutes of setting up then I'll break down and move on to the
next grid. I will be running down the I-25 corridor from Wheatland WY
to Cheyenne and then shoot over to DN81. I'll move down to DN80 and
backtrack across I-80 to I-25 and move down to DN70. I'll continue down
the I-25 corridor through DM79, DM78, DM77 and stop in DM76. DM76 is
Raton, New Mexico. For those that work me coordination with weaker
stations is greatly appreciated.

Depending on time of day I may attempt DM86 also, which is east of
Raton. I haven't picked a site to operate from there yet but I'm
looking for some altitude to work from. I would love to work TX, OK, CO
and NM stations from there on 1296 and 3456 especially.

On Sunday morning I expect to run north from DM76/DM86 through the
following DM87, DM88 and DM89. Of course the schedule is tentative
pending total amount of activity.

CU in the ether......73 de N0SWV Jesse
