Its an echo box. Used to test and adjust radar, could be any radar
within its tuning range.

Frequency was probably defined in the lost calibration chart in the
manual. If it has a coax connector, its probably L or S band, if
waveguide, the waveguide size will reveal the frequency range. Its
probably described in an old Fair Radio catalog, or a list of military
equipment, possibly one of the Surplus Conversion manuals from Editors
and Engineers, or a catalog from one of the surplus radar equipment
sellers still in business such as Radio Research Instrument Company, or
the test equipment volume of the MIT Rad Lab series that was published
about 1948. None of those are at this computer, so I can't look right
now.
