I own the FT-2000 and in my opinion the RF processor, like
on most rigs, is a piece of junk.  Some say that the
firmware upgrade help the processor out, but my suggestion
is to leave it off.  You may be able to get some better
results by running it at a very low level, but most RF
processors are pretty much worthless.  I would use the EQ
settings to get the best output audio not the processor.
