[Microphones] D-104

Hi All,

I just bought a D-104 which doesn't seem to work, how can I test this mic? 
It seems open on an ohm meter. When i got it it was not connected, is there 
a + and a - side to the element? Are their elements available for 
replacement, I also need a couple of original screws. All I got was the top 
part: the head and tube with the cord going through it, is this worth trying 
to fix or should I just grab another one? I want this for a DX-100,
