>From Drake list:

Drake sold their model 729SRD microphone as an accessory for the T-4XB. According to a sales brochure from the early 1970s it is
described as a, "Drake-modified EV 729SR for VOX or PTT with Drake Xmtrs. Hi-Z Ceramic Mike. Highly directional. Dimen: 8-1/4" x
4" W x 4-1/4" D. Wt. 1lb., incl. cable." The list price was $17.00. The 4 inch width is due to the base in which the microphone
sat.

The Drake HF transmitters were high impedance microphone inputs (50 kilohms nominal), although low impedance with the TR-7 was
provided via a separate pin input. A scanned image of that portion of the sales brochure can be viewed at:

Also included in this portion of the brochure is a description of the MS-4 speaker cabinet.
