Well it looks like the famous Astatic D-104 is soon to be a thing of the
past.   They are announcing on their web site the availability of the
last model of D-104.

Astatic is offering a special Final Edition Silver Eagle D-104 with
special markings and a collector's case....here is the URL

The Astatic corporation and especially the D-104 have both earned a
special place in Ham Radio history....kinda sad to see them go....
