Hi Kenny,

Deb (N8CGQ) and I are planning to come. We will probably bring one or
both of our daughters.

Regards,

Joe

Just wanted to send out a friendly reminder and ask, beg, threaten all
to please RSVP if you plan to attend the picnic next weekend. I
really hope everybody will be able to come out and enjoy the afternoon
of fun and food. (I have managed to convince Rosie to make a pot of
her wonderful/award winning chili)

I also wanted to let everybody know that team KD7SLL/KU7M/Harmonic1
plans to take the fox hunt very seriously. The preparations have
already began to convert the regular rover rig to a fox hunting rig.
(See attach pic) Look out! :-)

73,
Kenny

skills (primarily cooking and eating) don't get too rusty. The date
will be August 26th and start with a fox hunt at 11:00am in the
Kirkland/Woodinville area. Details about the fox hunt will come
shortly. Dig out those tape measure antennas or the spare plumbing and
start building http://home.att.net/~jleggio/projects/rdf/tape_bm.htm.

at some park options for the picnic and it was decided by the board that
my house would be the best location. The address is 14014 89th Ave SE,
Snohomish. From the south, you take I-405 to Hwy 522
(Woodinville/Monroe). From Hwy 522, turn north on Hwy 9 toward
Snohomish. You'll travel about 6 miles up the highway and my driveway
is the first left after you pass the light at Cathcart Way. From I-5
it's even easier. Take the South Everett/Paine Field Exit at 128th Ave
SE and turn right (east). Follow it all the all the way to Hwy 9 (where
it becomes Cathcart Way). Turn left at Hwy 9 and the first left in the
driveway. If you get all the way to the valley floor, you've gone too
far. Despite the simple instructions, mapping programs are unreliable
when plotting the house so I've included a map. My house is the last
house at the end (top) of the driveway. Park anywhere along the right
of the driveway (next to the fence).

people bring an appropriate side or dessert and their favorite beverage
(some beverages will be available). The horses are always grateful for
carrots. Talk to my wife about feeding them, they can get competitive
when fed goodies. A few extra chairs might be handy as well.
