[MFJ-Ameritron] Mfj 981 versa tuner IV manual/schematic?? wanted

Picked up a modified unit Sunday and no manual 
Pretty old unit but seems well built
Would like to restore it to new operating  condition (there were many
new inputs on the back panel) and for any service needed.

Found none at MFJ site;BAMA;DK.MOD etc but did find a comment
that it's a clone of the Dentron MT3000A which I just down loaded.
Also found a reference in a QST ad 12/82 that it's similar to the 984  but 
that is also n/a in my search.
