Hi All,

I am totally blind and can not read the manual for my AL-82. I have been
told my grid current is too high. Others say it is OK. I want to know what
it is supposed to be.

If one of you could please tell me the "typical", or suggested, plate
current and grid current MA I would really appreciate it.

FYI: The high voltage is 3600, just as it should be. The plate shows 500 and
the grid shows 190 MA with 35 watts of drive.

Using an external watt meter, the output with the TX in the RTTY mode is 980
watts. the RTTY mode

The amp's CW/SSB switch is in the SSB position.

Thank you!
