[MFJ-Ameritron] MFJ 496 Super Keyboard II

I recently acquired one of these CW keyer/keyboards, but no manual. I'd
like one, if anyone has one they can scan and send to me, or a hard copy
they could mail (I'll pay reasonable postage). Or maybe someone who has one
could just answer a couple of questions.
Here's my problems with it. It has memories for various messages, where it
inserts a pre-programmed callsign where appropriate. I can't figure out how
to program the ID to my callsign.
Second, my key is wired "conventional" (dots w/thumb, right-handed) but when
I plug it in the key jack, it produces dots with the right (finger) paddle,
and dashes with the left (thumb) paddle. I could rewire the plug to reverse
this, but then it won't match my other keyer. I suppose I could make a
"patch" cord with the wires reversed between jack and plug, but it seems
like there should be a way to program it to reverse the paddles (I suspect
that this was done originally, as the OM I got it from is a lefty).
If anyone could answer these two questions (or come up with a manual) I'd
appreciate it.
Thanks,
Jay Eimer
