[MFJ-Ameritron] MFJ Phone Patch to Kenwood TS570SG

Hi,

I'm attempting to match the MFJ Phone Patch unit to a Kenwood TS570SG.  Unfortunately, the phone patch's speaker plug can't communicate with my external speaker.  I can, however, get a signal from the speaker out plug of the TS570SG into the phone patch unit.

Anybody running this phone patch into either the Kenwood or a Ten Tec OMNI VI+.  What are the tricks and problems?
