At your suggestion I took a peek. That was somewhat helpful and I
appreciate your interest. The diagram at the website you suggested is the current
Random Wire Tuner model 16010..
The model whose schematic and/or manual I am lseeking has features not
included in the current model 16010. I have what was called a "Super Tuner"
and no longer is in production. It bore the model number 16010 ST (I suppose
for "Super Tuner") and worked with either coax. balanced feedline, or random
length wire antenna. The one I have works well with all three.
The current model 16010 has an L-Network with one capacitor while this
16010 ST has a T-Network with two capacitors and a balun. I find it
interesting to compare with my Versa Tuner III. When I sell it at the hamfest for the
SK Estate I would like to furnish a schematic to the purchaser.
