[MFJ-Ameritron] Re Blind Man And The Kid

Thanks to all who contributed bits of useful information to assist my eleven
year old grandson and I in tuning up the Ameritron AL-1500. He did a great job
and it played well on Wednesday night for the HCI Global Glow roundtable. (I am
NCS for the Hallicrafters Collectors International Nets). 	
	
We tuned to the TA-33 with the higher swr of 1.5 It loaded up with 50 watts of
drive to 1400 watts out, according to the meters on the AL-1500. The grid was 35
MA and the plate was 825.	
	
I was then able to switch over to the vertical with a swr of 1.1 with no changes
on the meters whatsoever.
