[MFJ-Ameritron] Help with MFJ-1275

Hi,

I have a problem. I have a new MFJ-1275 I am attempting to set up for an 
ICOM IC-706MKIIG with the ICOM OPC-589 conversion cable that converts from 
the modular connector on the 706 to the round metal connector for the 1275. 
The store was out of the 1275M. Can anyone tell me how to set up the 
jumpers in the 1275 for this combination? The setup in the manual does not 
work as the radio continually increases frequency when plugged into the 1275.
