[MFJ-Ameritron] Problem with MFJ-784

When I power up the DSP filter the speaker goes dead with the "in-Out"
switch in either
position. When I power down the unit the speaker comes back to life. I put a
scope
on the receiver in jack and when I power up the unit the audio signal goes
to zero.
Something seems to be grounding the audio in when power is applied. Does any
one
have a schematic or where I should look ? Many thanks  Wade
