Hey Paul, 
Well, I have one.......not any strong words pro or con...it does preselect,
has a strong preamp in it, around 20 db I think, I'd say it
works fairly well for gemeral s/w listening, if I remember there were a few
stations it improved the reception when switching in/out,
some it didn't help at all..............do you have one?
