Hi Franz et al.

I agree that the term exclusivity or the like can be abused or
misinterpreted. However, I believe that not only the DX-peditions benefit
from some kind of x-y-z als those who would like to work them do.

Using same period will not work as DX-peditions are in various places.

Why many cramp into +/3 kHz I have never figured out.

Hi Bo & Others,

Although I do believe that some kind of common sense or better said practice
should be adhered to,
I am a bit hesitatant of "giving" them some priority, and in effect it seems
that the self regulation of
the MS community avoids real conflicts of interests. This is my view from my
nice QTH, perhaps you
and others have different views from the dx-peditioner perspective.

It would make sense though that all should use the same period (1st), and
the operating QRG
should be a bit away from 370, to avoid QRM. (not necessarely 367 or 373)

Your initiative of the list on your website is really that what I have been
looking for, excellent, thanks a lot !

Your list could be used very well by those who are planning DX-Peditions.
Many thanks to those
who do so (my last was 1995) and especially to those who gave me new
squares.

  Hi all

As many of you are probably aware the Perseids shower is here and thus the
number of frequencies in use on especially for 144 MHz meteor scatter.

Here is a list of the frequencies in use by DX-peditions:
  www.rudius.net/dxp/shower.php

Not that anyone has any exclusivity to any particular frequency. But will
it
make sense that DX-peditions have some kind of soft priority to the
preferred frequency of operation? At least they spend time, energy and
money
going somewhere we like them to go.

  Just an idea.

What is your view on this?
