[Meteor-Scatter] 144 MHz MS Expedition to Gibraltar ZB2

[DF2ZC Bernd]

Frank DH7FB and Bernd DF2ZC are conducting a 2m DXpedition to Gibraltar from
20 April to 24 April. We will work from the Caleta Hotel
http://www.caletahotel.com/ in IM76HD. Rig will be TS2000, external preamp,
2x17 ele TONNA and sufficient power.

The main purpose of this activity is working EME (there will be a special
announcement on this on moon-net later). However, during the moonless times
(and when the moon is behind the rock) we will also work Meteorscatter in
FSK441 on 144.363 MHz with ZB2/DF2ZC or ZB2/DH7FB always first. You can
expect the first sigs on April 20th evening if all goes according to
schedule.

No skeds, random only.

Please remeber to call us WITH A REPORT which is 100% permissible according
the the IARU Region 1 QSO procedures for Meteorscatter - of course, only if
you copy us. If you don't copy us there is no justification for calling us
at all.

We will transmit final rogers only if needed to make the QSO complete, i.e.
we won't answer final rogers from our partner station since the QSO is
complete with us receiving his final rogers. We will go straight to the next
station in the pile-up instead.

Guy DL8EBW will publish a daily QSO list and some JPGs on www.mmmonvhf.de
for the "faint-hearted" to check whether their QSO is in log. So no 2nd
calls please after a complete QSO.

All this might sound somewhat harsh but it's not meant to. We only want to
make clear that our goal is to make most of the little time available. And
we are very happy to work any station!
