Hi there,

just quick comment.
I would like to dissagree of using 144.315 + - segmen of 2m band for downlink purposes. I am very active VHF/UHF operator and even there was a bit quiet period on 2m SSB, finally since last year we are experiencing more activity on both 2m and 70cm. I would like to point that as 144.300 as salling frequency mostly used for monitoring DX , having downlink as close as 144.315 is absolutelly unthinkable as results could be such as identifying downlink af passing by satellite as Es or Tropo opening. There are more convenient parts of band (144.500-144.600) for instance which are rarely used at all. I think before putting those ideas any further, it would be good idea to discuss it with those interested i VHF / UHF DXing.

Please dont take it offensive as this is just my oppinion but I am sure shared by more my friends and OMs.

Best regards,
