[Meteor-Scatter] ABt FT-857 and weak signals

Hello All
Has someone used ft-857 in VHF with weak signals? as EME or meterorscatter?
I am think the possibility of using this equipment in EME's portable
operations in 144 Mhz using WSJT (JT65b), someone has some experience
with this equipment? or FSK441?.
