ITALIAN ACTIVITY CONTEST 2004
Starting on January the 1st 2004, it issued an activity contest to be held
on VHF-UHF-SHF bands with the following rules:
Participants: all licensed OM/SWL.
Single entry (Fixed/portable, SSB/CW)
Time : 17 - 21.00 UTC (April - October)
18.00 - 22.00 UTC (November - March)
1st tuesday of the month
VHF 144 MHz SSB/CW 1A (CEPT A) 1B (CEPT B) 1 SWL
2nd tuesday of the month
UHF 432 MHz SSB/CW 2A (CEPT A) 2B (CEPT B) 2 SWL
3rd tuesday of the month.
SHF 1296 MHz and Up SSB/CW 3A (CEPT A) 3B (CEPT B) 3 SWL
4th tuesday of the month.
VHF 50 MHz SSB/CW 4A (CEPT A + B) 4 SWL
Contacts
All 2 way contacts made according to the band plan rules are valid.
QSO made via EME/Satellites/Transponders or terrestrial repeaters do not
count for points.
50 MHz band calling frequencies are 50.095 (� 5 Khz) for CW , 50.150 and
upwards for SSB.
The same station cannot be contacted more than once on each band, in the
same day.
Reports
Participants must exchange the RST and the full WW locator
Score
1 point for every kilometer (QRB) multiplied for total QSO number on each
band.
For example: total QRB 1.000 km, total qso number 35, final score 1.000 x 35
= 35.000 points.
Prizes
On 144,432,1296 Mhz and up, first 3 places on each band and for each
licence category will be awarded. The 1st SWL on each band will be also
awarded.
For the 50 Mhz band only, regardless the licence category, the first three
non - italian OM and the 1st SWL will receive a prize.
The radioamateurs who are not associated to a recognized by IARU
association, will be on the score list but are not eligible for a prize. For
everything not mentioned the IARU rules for VHF/UHF/SHF contests are valid.

must be sent not later than the 20th of February).

All stations are kindly requested to leave the DX calling frequencies clear
during the competition.
