[Meteor-Scatter] SVHFS CORRECTION on room reservation deadline!!!

Southeastern VHF Society 8th Annual Conference
April 23 & 24, 2004


The post I made earlier about an extension to the room
reservation deadline was a mistake.

I have just called the hotel and have the latest info.

++ The block of rooms that they are holding for us will be
released TONIGHT FRIDAY APRIL 2, 2004 at 12 MIDNIGHT
(EASTERN TIME).

++ At this time they only have King rooms left available
from our block.

++ According to the person that handles the group sales
at the hotel there are several large events going on in
town that weekend. They already have a waiting list for
any rooms that we might not use in our block.

++ If you want to get a room in the conference hotel you
really need to call your reservation in to the hotel before
MIDNIGHT (EASTERN TIME) TONIGHT FRIDAY APRIL 2, 2004.

Be sure and call the hotel direct and mention the
Southeastern VHF Society Conference when reserving to get
the group rate!
