[Meteor-Scatter] Fall VHF/UHF Sprints are HERE! 2M on Monday night!

Hi everyone,

The Fall VHF/UHF Sprints sponsored by the Southeastern VHF Society
will be starting this coming Monday, September 22. The 2M Sprint
will kick things off followed by one Sprint a week after that.

Plaque or certificate for top finisher in each contest. Certificates
for top three Single Op finishers in each sprint and top three
Rovers in each sprint if sufficient Rover competition is shown. All
to be awarded at the Southeastern VHF Society banquet.

Down East Microwave (DEMI) is again sponsoring two participation
awards! One award for 222 and one for 903. See the rules on the
SVHFS website for the details http://svhfs.org

The SVHFS website has been updated with information about the upcoming
Southeastern VHF Society Conference that will be in Atlanta next year
April 23 & 24, 2004.

Sprint Dates:

144 MHz 7 PM to 11 PM local time on Monday September 22, 2003.

222 MHz 7 PM to 11 PM local time on Tuesday September 30, 2003.

432 MHz 7 PM to 11 PM local time on Wednesday October 8, 2003.

Microwave (902 MHz and above) 6 AM to 1 PM local time on Saturday
October 18, 2003. Choose any 5 hours, in one hour increments.

50 MHz starts 2300 UTC October 25,2003 and ends 0300 UTC October 26, 2003.
