Hi!
RK1B/1 will be QRV from KO69?? 3-4th Jan 2004 wsjt. Correct locator we look
with GPS when we found QTH, maybe QRV from car. We work only WSJT random in
144.388 txing 1st period. When we start we make 1st CQ 388 in 144370. QSL
via OH5LID. Setup 15el & GU74b.
73 de Janne OH5LID & Alex RU1AS
PS. Maybe somebody ask why only WSJT and random, why not HSCW and/or sked.
I saw QSO statictic about OH8K Leonids 2002 KP55 expedition. They made 34
HSCW sked, 14 completed. C sked were on average 44 min long. In same
expedition they had 54 WSJT sked, 48 completed and average 14 min. All sked
were +1800km. So with limited time we have more interest to try make as meny
QSOs as possible. Better probability gives WSJT.
And why not sked. Random operating we can work with that operator who is
qrv. Somewhere is hard wind, somebody sleep, someones wife say that have to
go to shopping etc so sked time often we will be alone in band... and
Tailender's are hard to operate with that time period what is before next
sked.
Often I saw also info that pse sked, because somebody is not EME gun or QRB
is very long. I may recommend 2 thing, better to make EME setup or/and buy
new QTH what is not so far away of areas where we make expeditions ;)))
Just kidding but once LID is always LID ;)
