              GENERAL RULES OF LITHUANIAN VHF/UHF/SHF CONTEST
                      (Open LY VUSHF Championship)      


     DATE:     16 of August, 2003.

     TIME:     18.00 - 24.00 UTC.
     
     BANDS:    144 MHz, 432 MHz, 1.3 GHz, 2.3 GHz, 5.7GHz, 10 GHz.
          
     CONTACTS: All operation in accordance with IARU Region 1
	       bandplans. Any station may be worked, but to
               classify, QSO with atleast 1 LY station is necessary.
               Contacts via active repeaters and EME are not valid.

     MODES:    CW, SSB, FM.

     EXCHANGE: Signal report plus serial number of QSO,
               starting from 001 in each band, and WW-locator.

     SCORING:  1 point/kilometer on 144 MHz, 2 points/kilometer on
               432 MHz, 4 points/kilometer on 1.3 GHz, 8 points/
	       kilometer on 2.3 GHz, 16 points/kilometer on 5.7 GHz
               and 32 points/kilometer on 10 GHz.
               Final score is the sum of all points in all  bands
               during the contest period. 

     CLASSES:  1. Single operator.
               2. Multi operators.

     AWARDS:   Up to three highest scoring stations in each classe
               of each participating country will receive the awards.

     LOGS:     The logs must be postmarked within two weaks after
               contest period and sent to :
