Hello Rick.

I have made a few QSO's on meteorscatter FM, the longest distance was about
2000km with G4PCS. It is fun but puts a bit of strain on the big amplifier.. 
Full quieting signals were heard and I used the squelch so it was an
interesting experience indeed. Not like listening in the noise for weak
signals.
