Hello all,

Thank you all who called us on our IOTA pedition to EU101. The main interest
on this pedition was on HF work so the VHF was operated on the side of HF.
We put up 15 element DL6WU type beam about 5 meters high, FT847 rig, 600
watt amplifier and around 20 meters of Aircom in between. The amplifier has
a built in 0,3db NF preamp in it. We used MSDSP to TX and RX the MS CW. All
the signals that came in were unbeliavably strong for a guy that has used to
a close to noise level signals (me!). We worked the following stations, I
didn't count pings and bursts:

DATE UTC Call Sent Rcvd
9-JUN-2002 05:19-05:28 DL1RTL 27 R27
9-JUN-2002 05:39-05:49 DJ9CZ 27 R27
9-JUN-2002 05:54-06:08 OK1DIG 38 R38
9-JUN-2002 07:34-07:44 DJ9MS 27 R26
10-JUN-2002 18:00-18:35 DL3BUE 27 R27
10-JUN-2002 19:35-19:44 DD3SP 27 26
10-JUN-2002 20:08-20:13 DL5WG R27 37
10-JUN-2002 20:43-20:53 DF8IK 38 R27
11-JUN-2002 03:00-03:49 G4HGI 26 R26
11-JUN-2002 06:48-07:03 DL9AN 37 R27
11-JUN-2002 07:33-07:43 DK3BU 39 R39

All the above QSO's were random except DL3BUE and G4HGI. Also had a sked
with IZ4AIK but except the fact that I received his report and sent mine we
never completed. After DK3BU I wrote to my paper log "Huge, almost all the
time". He was very loud indeed and very easy to work as all the others too.
This pedition might give me a wrong impression of the signal levels on the
OH west coast but anyway I had fun. I wish I had had more time for MS as
many of you who sent me emails before pedition were still left without QSO
to KP03. I have .WAV files of all the QSO's I made and if some of you who
worked us wants his piece please email me I will send them to you. For the
rest of you maybe DK3XT can publish some of them on his site. Bernd please
email me me if that is possible.
