Hi fellow hams,

The community of radio amateurs may be considered a global and
permanent radio observation network. We will analyse this network's
response on a global impact, i.e. the geomagnetic storm from March
31, 2001. Analysing a large amount of Aurora QSO data from individual
radio amateurs around the world, we may study the storm's impact on
Aurora dx communication on a global scale. For more details, please
refer to
http://www.df5ai.net and
http://www.df5ai.net/ArticlesDL/Aurora_310301/A310301.html, respectively.

Did you work or hear any Aurora on March 31, 2001? Please submit your
logbook data (call signs, date, time, frequency, grid locators) to
the above email address. Aurora dx information from regions outside
of Europe are very much appreciated.

vy 73s,
Volker (DF5AI)
