[Meteor-Scatter] 2002 Perseids Report

Hello MSers!

It has been amazing noticing the overwhelming FSK441 activity on 144370!
I noticed not a very sharp peak, instead a very distribuited one along the
Perseids period.

I do agree with some friends who found out  that some FSK441 operators
showed not a very good knowledge of HSMS procedures. That thing caused quite
a number of misunderstanding and unavoidable confusion on random frequency.

I think that some of  those who use WSJT now are not very well acquainted
with HSMS procedures 
because the came directly from SSB MS experience. So it takes a bit of
patience and indulgence on 
their behalf.

With the time and our help they can get better HSMS operators.

I also do  find extremely useful the CQ +/- Kc which has been proposed
