[Meteor-Scatter] Perseids and operating procedures!

I'm just back of a little hilday after the Perseids and I was surprised
to see so much reactions about this few days and the use of FSK441. But
it is a sign that the activity is going upwards introducing WSJT(FSK441)
and that is already positive...
So about the topics:
1.The use of DX clusters
We need defenitly have need of a good random freq and procedure for
random QSO's so the selfspotting is reduced to a minimum.

I fully agree with DG0DHU, Ulrich, that the use of a DX cluster should
be stopped for exchanging information of any kind about the running QSO.
But his is not a problem only related to the use of FSK441, you can do
the same with HSCW,SSB and so on. The problem here is the 'education" of
newcomers who use now FSK411.

But this is not only a problem for this new mode and the use of DX
clusters.=20
You can also use the privat converse mode on the wwconvers(ch 14345 and
14346) to exchange this information, in any mode you use...

2. When is a QSO a wright one?
In my opinion (and that from many others) a QSO is OK when both
callsigns are received als wel as the both reports and a confirmation.
This is so for al modes, including FSK441. But i listened many hours in
SSB during the peak and try to make QSO's. When i see some logs i think
that some OM's take there dreams for reality. I can say that for me that
I did make 1 wright full QSO in SSB during these Perseids. When see some
logs where there are about 20 QSO's made (and i heard them) i have some
doubts... So claming QSO's is not a thing only related to FSK441.

2. QTF-dependent calling frequencies
I see no use of this. Let us make 1 central calling freq and a simple
way of saying that we listen on an other freq. Using the KISS(S) method
(keep it short, simple (and stupid?))
We can use CQ+letter like in HSCW. But other systems are also imaginable
it they are clear. It's a mtaher of agremenet. After all i thin CQ+xx or
CQ-xx are also good..

3. Skeds everywhere in the band
No FSK below 144.150 and above 144.400. We have defenitly need for a
central random calling freq (144.370?) But individual skeds can be
arranged in the whole SSB bandplanning, like it is for the other skeds.

4. NO use of beaconsegment band
I think this need no explanation...

5. Banning the FSK to the digital bandplanning.
This is not a good idea. Initialy this is for local trafic in FM.This is
not realistic for the use of FSK441 who is a DX mode.

Conclusion:
- FSK411 is indeed an improvement for the DX activity on VHF (UHF?)
- It is an extra tool for us as MS-freaks. I should not say that is is
the most appropriated way in the top af the shower but it is an
excellent tool for sporadic showers and de pre- and postperiod in the
showers. Use it as one of the tools you have amongst HSCW (thats gives
me the greatest fun)and SSB.
- We need in Region1 a form of procedure, there are already several
propositions for the next conference in June (UBA,DARC,...) Lets take
some actions to co=F6rdinate or wishes and demands for clearing up this
mess that now is created arround WSJT(FSK441).
- We need also to explain to the newcomers the procedures and the
'traditions' of VHF-DX and MS procedures. Lets use therefore the
appropriate channels (publications, internet,...)

I like to use FSK441 but i enjoy also the other modes. This is an extra
tool who is very good and it gives also possibillity's to the "small
pistols" to enjoy MS (i made QSO's with 70W over 1400Km).
