Hi all
During the peak of perseids i'm together with Stefan, LA0BY in JO49ML. Afte=
r this i have some more days free and so i will look for a QTH in JO39 #. T=
his is quite difficult due to many mountains, but now i have a van and comp=
lete 12V rig to operate real /p.
If a QTH is found, i should be QRV from 14.8. - 16.8. calling cq on 144.100=
in 2nd (not 1st) period using letter system.=20
Rig: 10el 2.3wl - DTR - PA 2x2MRF247 (200-250w). Speed is ok up to 2500lpm.=
The 110Ah Batt. is loaded while rx so operation should be possible for sev=
eral hours. FSK441 is possible from JO49+39 but the focus is on hscw.
Remark: It is always difficult in a mountain area to find a place with free=
take off in both South AND east direction. If so i'll try to move the loca=
tion. Operation time and QTF will follow the calculations given from OH5IY =
software.
It might be possible that i switch the period from 2nd to 1st for some time=
, but this is clearly indicated by QSY or QRT afterwards.
The fact is that nobody in DL can tx 1st without being jammed or receiving =
flames on dxc.
Good reflections in perseids 2002!
