They do have a linked repeater system in Maine that reachs up to around 
the Houlton area which the repeater in Lincoln, Maine is on the link and 
some can reach it from Houlton area.
As for packet in Northern Maine, that you can forget about unless 
someone has a node up somewhere that I do not know about.
