[MDC-EC] November EC Report

To All Maryland-DC ECs:
 
I hope you all had a very thankful Thanksgiving this year.  Wanda and I do dinner at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in DC every year and sat at the WWII vets table.  Talk about war stories. . .and I mean REAL war stories.  Awesome.  Now I need to tell one.
 
Sitting across from us at dinner is Carroll Collins, NG4Y!  WWII Army, battle of, or invasion at Salerno, Italy first wave.  He told us he lived in Greensboro, NC before coming up to the Home.  I asked him if every knew of The Greensboro Taylor Clinic.  He said with a smile, "Why yes, I knew Shahane Taylor, W4PFG (expired call sign now), when I was the EC for Guilford County!!"  I said, "Did you know he was the son of Dr. Taylor of the clinic." He asked, "Yes, but how did you know Shahane being so far away?"  I said, Dr. Taylor was my uncle!!!!  Small world indeed.
 
The November report will be due shortly.  I will have a short window in December from the time I get back home to putting the report together for the League.  I request you be timely in your submissions for me please..
 
Remember to name the file as:    2012-11 XXXX EC Report [dot] whatever, where XXXX is you four letter county designee.  This helps me sort and find reports at a later date.
