FYI - if any of your people are able to support, please contact Jeff or Joe.

73; Steve, N3SB

The Harford County EOC has activated the Harford County Auxiliary
Communications Service, the umbrella organization for amateur radio
public service communications (e.g. ARES/RACES), and we are in need of
additional manpower in order to meet the needs requested by the
Harford County EOC.

This incident is expected to require amateur radio support through at
least Monday, September 12, 2011. Manpower is needed to staff the
shelter that is currently open and perhaps an additional one or two
shelters will need to be opened depending on the extent of the
flooding. Help is also needed to man the RACES station at the Harford
County EOC.

All times of the day are open for volunteering.

Our minimum requirements for volunteers are quite simple. Be able to
fill out the standard ICS-213 message form, be licensed, and have
completed the ARRL Level I EMCOMM training or an equivalent training
class such as that offered by the Harford, Baltimore & Cecil County
groups.

If you come up with volunteers, please contact Jeff, KB3LFG at
jeffamatth at verizon.net , or Joe, AJ3x at aj3x at mdraces.org.
