Steve,

We would participate, however, Tuesday is our deployment exercise. Baltimore and Harford counties have been using MT63 acoustically and with
TNCs since 2006. We used it during the 2009 inauguration. It is extremely reliable and as you stated a much more efficient method of sending forms. We recently started using high speed D-Star to send data, files and e-mail.

Hi Folks;

An on-air demonstration of MT-63 has been planned with MEMA for
Tuesday evening, February 8, 8:30 PM, after the monthly RACES drill
concludes. Tony KF3AK will be operating from Camp Fretterd, and I'll
be in Carroll County. We're tentatively using the 147.060 Western
Region Net frequency.

For this demo it would be great to get a couple other EOCs or hospital
stations to participate. Since MT-63 works quite well with simple
acoustic coupling, there will be no set-up required, other than to
have a computer with FLDIGI and FLMSG ready.

This should be a fun demo. If all goes well we should demonstrate that
an ICS-213, RadioGram, or RACES SITREP form can be sent error-free in
about 20% of the time needed to send it by voice.

Please let me know if you're interested in participating.

73; Steve, N3SB
