Comments:

Anne Arundel County: Fourteen ARES members conducted a Mini-SET simulating 
a Category 1 Hurricane. Nine ARES members supported a parade.

Carroll County: Eighteen ARES members supported the County's emergency 
preparedness exercise. Focus was on an orderly member call-up, resource net 
activation, and deployment. Also experimenting with EasyPal digital 
communications mode.

Cecil County: Twelve ARES members provided communications for bicycle 
portion of the Diamond in The Rough Triathlon.

Frederick County: ARES members supported the Cycle Across Maryland event.

Garrett County: Planning for the SavageMan Triathlon. Soliciting help from 
Allegny County.

Prince Georges County: Implementing revised training schedules as a result 
of the after-action report from the State Pan Flu Exercise. Training will 
focus on correct net procedures, airmail training, and operation of the 
basic set-up at served agencies. Also working with county IT to resolve a 
firewall issue to enable full-time use of a RMS Packet gateway at the EOC. 
Phase one of the Prince George's County Hospital Coalition alternate 
communications equipment set-up and test out is now complete.
