Hurricane Sandy causes closings, cancellations around D.C. region

Here are closings and cancellations around the D.C. region due to Hurricane Sandy. The Going Out Guide has information on canceled events here.
Update as of Sunday, Oct. 28
Federal government
Federal offices in the Washington area will be closed Monday. The U.S. Office of Personnel Management says most non-emergency employees will be granted administrative leave for their scheduled working hours, although emergency employees will be required to report to work.
Schools:
D.C. Public schools will be closed on Monday.
All Fairfax County public schools will be closed Monday and Tuesday, and school offices will be closed Monday.
Arlington County public schools and offices will be closed Monday.
Alexandria City public schools will be closed Monday.
Loudoun County public schools and offices will be closed Monday.
Montgomery County public schools will be closed Monday and Tuesday.
Calvert County and Howard County schools will be closed Monday.
Baltimore City public schools will be closed Monday.
Montgomery College will be closed Monday.
Prince George’s County Public Schools will operate under a Code Yellow, with all schools and offices closed.
All campuses of the University of the District of Columbia are closed Monday, but essential personnel are being asked to report for their normally scheduled hours.
Several D.C. charter schools will be closed Monday. Here’s the full list.
The University of Maryland will be closed Monday.
