The event took place on June 27 =E2=80=93 28=2C w= ith operation starting at 11:00 AM PDT Saturday=2C and continuing to 11:00= AM Sunday. A preparation team arrived Friday morning to start setting up. Operation consisted of an HF station in the club trailer that was operatin= g FT-8 and using the tower-mounted HF beam. A field station was also set u= p just inside the MoF parking lot fence=2C north of the ham shack in the M= oF step van=2C that used our A3S beam antenna and trailer-mounted tower. T= he UHF Winlink station in the trailer was used to send messages to ARRL of= ficials=2C and our satellite station also made a contact. Emergency power for the ham shack was provided by the MoF site generator= =2C which was tested by Ray Fletcher=2C KB7VMS. A generator was used at th= e field station and as an experiment. A portable solar setup was also conn= ected to the radio and provided power for that component. A total of 222 contacts were made=2C which garnered a total operating scor= e of 882 points. We also earned 600 bonus points for operating emergency p= ower=2C sending an ARRL Section Manager message=2C making natural-power co= ntacts=2C having site safety responsibilities=2C making a satellite contac= t=2C and making a web entry. The combined score of 1=2C482 was uploaded to= ARRL=E2=80=99s online submission web page.
