I just bought a Mac mini about two months ago, but haven’t got it set up yet as I can’t spend much time sitting at a desk as my knee will not tolerate that Position

I hate autofill or whatever it is called.  Seems like anytime I type “not” it gets changed to “to”.  My 2014 MacBook Pro will not update past Sierra.

Mike,

You might want to look into creating a logbook in QRZ.com.  I don’t know how handy it would be to use “on the fly” but after you record a QSO on paper you could enter it into the QRZ.com logbook.  I have uploaded log files to QRZ for some time now but have only recently created and started using a logbook on QRZ.

With the QRZ logbook, you can manually enter a QSO, upload a log file and export QSOs.

I also recently bought a basic subscription to QRZ because that will automatically add contact information to anything I log using NetLogger.  I used to use a program called Ham Logger on my 2014 MacBook Pro (also will to update past Sierra) but it will no longer work on that laptop, which is my radio room computer.

I am not sure what you are looking for but LoTW (ARRL Logbook of the World) is another option.  I upload my QSOs to LoTW, QRZ and eQSL.  I only started using eQSL because someone form a foreign country asked about it for QSO confirmation.  As far as viewing my QSOs, etc., I really don’t like eQSL.

I certainly am not the most knowledgeable person on the subject but this is what I have been doing.

I'm back in action after many idle years. I have Dr Ryan's old TS-440S and built a dandy Carolina Windom that's routinely tuning 1:1.25 and getting 59's from Canada to Chile, LA to Florida.
My logbook (spiral notebook) is a disaster. Can any of you recommend a logbook for an older MAC that won't update past High Sierra 10.3?

It matched his calling.  Ed was good, very good.
