Subject: Extending Antenna Protections

Most of you are subscribed to the ARRL Member Bulletin. If so, you
received an email describing the effort to get new legislation passed to
allow all hams to erect appropriate antennas by removing private land
use restrictions. This is the missing piece we've working on since
PRB-1 was passed several years ago. PRB-1 states that local governments
must reasonably accommodate amateur operations, but they may still zone
for height, safety and aesthetics concerns. The new legislation expands
those protections to cover private land use restrictions.

The bulletin requests that you consider authorizing a letter to be sent
to your U.S. Senator and Representative. The process is very easy.
Just access
https://send-a-letter.org/hoa/
using your web browser. You will be asked to enter your call sign and
verify your name and address information. When you click "submit", a
letter will automatically be generated.

The lette rs will be printed by our lobbying firm in Washington and
presented to your respective Senator and Representative.

This is our best shot at getting this legislation done. Your help would
be most appreciated.
