I had found a tone generator online and connected the audio out from my iPad directly to the mic input…that worked well. I also listen to an amateur radio related podcast cast into the TS-830 connected to a dummy load and listened to the output on the TS-440. It sounded really good, and I turned down the power to QRP levels ( [ https://onlinetonegenerator.com/ | https://onlinetonegenerator.com/) ]
