[MCARC] Plaques status

Guys, I want to advise, in case you have not become aware of the status of the Veteran Wall near Case's store. There is work being done to replace all of the "Plaques". Presently all of the original plaques have been removed and pilled in front of each wall (not necessarily where they were originally were). If you have or know of plaques there that would be interest to remove from the piles, as they will not be put back on the wall. There will be a different means of displaying the previous information, at no cost to the original donor. I have been finding names of many plaques and taken familiar ones, and passed them on. But there are too many that need to be taken away (over 3000) and if by the time they decide to rebuild the wall, they will simply trash what there are. I think there should be a newspaper story of what is going on so people can find out what they prefer to do with their old plaques. Now is the time to go and locate any plaques wanted.
