We have a couple of Special Events this month.

Eric asked me to pass this info along:

The Phillips County ARC, W0ZXN, will be having a special event station
Sunday, October 9th from 5 to 7 pm at Phillipsburg's Fort Bissell
Museum.

We will be celebrating the opening of the new church at the museum as
well as 150 years of Phillipsburg and Phillips County. We will operate
around 14.260mhz, and attempt to operate on 3.920 mhz after the Kansas
Side Band net until 7pm.

QSL cards will be available and sent to the address listed on your
callsign from QRZ.com.

I ran into Barb at Valley Center ARC's hamfest, she is the contact for
this Flint Hills event.
The location is on the abandoned Frisco line from Joplin to Wichita.
They will be at the station.

Flint Hills ARC will operate WØT October 22nd at Beaumont, KS across
the street from historic Beaumont hotel. They plan to be on 80, 40 and
20 from 9A to 4P. The Beaumont Cafe will be open for dining.  Contact
Barb-KDØWAU at cox.net or 316 218- 8929.
