[MCARC] Balloon launch from Independence, KS set for June 4

On tonight's net, Ken, W0HLK, relayed that the Independence Kansas radio
club are planning a high altitude balloon launch on June 4 at about 9:30
AM.  Their club Web site has a flier:

Ken said they would have an APRS beacon and a cross-band repeater as
part of the payload.  The APRS callsign will be AC0AE-11 and the
repeater will be 147.910 input and 449.010 output with no tone (per the
flier).

The expectation is for the balloon to reach an altitude of 80,000 feet
before bursting.
