That is an Armored ASCII signature which is a computed polynomial from the
email I send and my PGP private signing key. The idea is that if there
had been any change to the email then the signature would be invalid.
It is a way to prevent spoofing as I sign nearly all of my mail expcet
to a few brain dead mailing lists (run by hams) that reject signed
messages.
If you're not set up for PGP/GPG, it can be safely ignored.
