[MCARC] Field Day 2022

Good morning Fellow Hams,

AC0I mentioned in qso yesterday afternoon that Field Day 2022 had been
brought up at the club meeting on Thursday evening.

The Nemaha County Amateur Radio Organization (NCAR0) will be activating a
short term field day site at Skoch Park shelter house on Saturday, June
25th in the afternoon. Setup to start at about 1pm and teardown probably by
6pm.

A picture (looking slightly to NW) of the site is attached and is provided
by WC0AA, Bruce. The site is S of the water tower and just east of the
swimming pool. There should be ample parking in the pool/park's lot.

Here are some features of this site:
-Highest elevation in Seneca
-Commercial Power available if needed
-Covered Shelter
-Public WIFI available
-Restrooms
-Ample open grounds for antennas, N, S, and W
(the trees are to the E)
-Low noise floor
-Already reserved

We would love to have you join us for this activation. There is plenty of
space for more radios. We will most likely have one voice HF station and
one digital station (probably FT 8). We might also setup an EchoLink
station. One never knows what may be needed in an emergency.
