Here is a photo of Skoch Park in Seneca much like Lion's Park; covered shelter, electricity, nearby restrooms. It's one of the highest places in Seneca and lots of open space. It sits just east of the swimming pool and pretty much directly west of the schools and a little northeast of the hospital and community building.

With the club meeting coming up on the 20th (I think) we probably should be prepared to discuss if we are interested in participating in field day. I have been thinking about possible locations and one that comes to mind that is near Marysville is the Spring Creek park just west of Home. It is obviously a lower elevation but on 40m and below we are going to be mostly NVIS so that may not be an issue. There is a good shelter with a sturdy roof and concrete floor. Put on the thinking caps where might be a suitable location in or around Seneca, Marysville, Blue Rapids. We can discuss the details if there is suitable interest.

PS if the wx is not good on the 20th we can move to the American Legion just north of the Casey’s store.
