I have a group of 3 xceivers of which 2 are TS-140 and one is a TS-680. All three radios are very similar except 680 is 160-6M. Only one is mostly operational in that it puts out good power on all bands and has good sensitivity. When I was checking sensitivity I was using headphones which sounded fine, and I learned that the audio amp is putting out very low audio to the speaker. I use a powered speaker and it was fine. The other two rigs have the same audio amp and it is fairly easy to access.I will give these away FREE to anyone who wants to put forth a little effort and change out the audio amp and have fairly good operating radio, though not the best looking. Or of course you can use a powered speaker if you choose.Let me know.Thanks Mike
