I will donate the HL coax if it is for repeater use, plus I also another piece of the same size that I will give if it can be spliced without compromise. Nate the XG3 is mine that I was using test radios HIHI. The spool of RG8 coax along with the other pieces of RG8 sell new for abt $1/ft and I will ask $0.50/Ft.

Thanks for the info, Nate.

I'd be interested in the hardline and other coax depending on price.

I'm still researching the antennas.

Not interested in the TS-940S and I'm NOT going to go read any review on it lest I develop an interest in it!

But, I AM interested in the Elecraft XG3 -- is that tool worth the price? I've read good things about it but just don't know how often I'd use one if I had one. Open to hearing more about it and it's uses, pros/cons, etc. Used ones on eBay sure don't go cheap so they must have some real value....?

and yes, Dave, if you're reading this, I haven't forgotten that I need to come by your place and pick up some coax......

Yes, hardline is the coax to use for a duplex (repeater) system. Other
acceptable cables are RG-400, RG-393, and RG-214 all of which are double
shielded.

LMR-400/DXE 400 Max are fine for home station or half-duplex use but not
recommended for a site with the potential for intermodulation products,
i.e. a site with many transmitters such as certain commercial repeater
sites.
