The Jet Propulsion Laboratory Amateur Radio Club will be holding a
special event to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 15.  I was a
member of that club for about 30 years. Here's a short blurb I
received:

Apollo 15 50th Anniversary 
Jul 31, 0000Z to-Aug 1, 2359Z,  the Jet Propulsion Laboratory Amateur
Radio Club (JPLARC) will be operating the special event station W6JPL to
commemorate the Apollo 15 50th Anniversary. Monitor DXSummit for when
and where.  See www.QRZ.com  for QSL information.  Several NASA center
and facility amateur radio clubs will be on the air  commemorating the
50th Anniversary of the Apollo 15 mission.  Contact the appropriate club
for their QSL information.

Radio Club:

The Mid-MO Amateur Radio Club of Jefferson City (the MO state capital)
will operate a Special Event commemorating the Bicentennial of Missouri
Statehood between August 7 and 10 using the call sign W0M. 

Frequencies can be found on spotting networks.

A specially designed QSL will be available upon receipt of a properly
completed QSL and a #10 envelope SASE.   See the W0M page on QRZ.COM for
details.
